Since the development of Magswitch Technology in 1999, the company has grown steadily with rapid expansion during the past two years extending into Korea, the USA and with operations in China and currently negotiations underway in Europe, the next 3-5 years will see Magswitch foster a strong global presence.

Focusing initially on intellectual property protection and initial market analysis & feasibility studies, commercialisation began aggressively in 2004 with the first international subsidiary in the USA with Magswitch Technology, Inc pioneering large scale production & the first to broadly offer Magswitch products to the market with the Magswitch Welding Ground Clamps.

Identifying strong market potential and strong market oportunity, the second subsidiary of Magswitch Technology Korea was brought on stream during 2005 and has spearheaded development in automation and shipbuilding.

Key Personnel

David Morton CEO and Director Mr Morton is a co-founder of Magswitch from strategy conception of the Magswitch business model, overseeing its implementation, through negotiations with multibillion-dollar prospective licensees. Mr Morton is responsible for top level strategic planning, negotiations and management, industry and alliance development.

Franz Kocijan R&D Director and Director Mr Kocijan is a co-founder of Magswitch and has over 20 years scientific field experience as an electrical engineer. He complements the management team with excellent technical KSA’s. In 1993 Mr. Kocijan invented a device to visually display magnetic fields on a Cathode Ray Tube as an educational tool (previously only demonstrated with paper and iron filings). Magswitch R&D works with the esteemed MIT in the USA to develop nano-technology and other Magswitch applications.
