Magswitch is an Australian corporation, with its head office function currently located in Colorado. In the beginning, technology drove the company’s corporate strategies, with a business model focused on protection of its “simple but elegant” magnetic technology. Today, with numerous patents and patents pending in all industrialized markets across the globe, Magswitch has evolved into an integrated business. In addition to research and development, Magswitch now delivers product design and engineering, manufacturing, and product distribution globally. The innovative Magswitch technology, like the business itself, has developed through simple applications in woodworking, welding, and fabrication into more technically complex magnetic lifters and marine and military products. In 2011, two significant new product lines are being launched—its range of robotic end effectors that are rapidly “changing the way things are done” in automation, and in November, Magswitch will begin shipping the cordless remote lifter range, which utilizes global power-tool technology with light-weight magnetic lifters.
