It recently came to the attention of Magswitch Technology that a new DVD called "Revelations on Table Saw Set-up & Safety", a Passion for Wood production featuring Canadian master craftsman, Hendrik Varju, features some of our products. We spoke to Varju about his inclusion of our products in his video production and it turns out that he has been favouring our featherboards ever since he discovered them at IWF 2006. Varju not only builds fine furniture and teaches his craft in his own workshop, but he is also a well known writer for magazines such as the very noteworthy "Fine Woodworking" magazine. We were thrilled to find out that Varju has been such a fan of our products and has been recommending them to his students since 2006. This is a DVD we highly recommend to our customers who need to learn more about how to set up and use their table saws to their full potential. To read more about Varju's videos, see http://www.passionforwood.com/dvds.htm. This is his second production following his first video called "Jointer and Planer Secrets". Ted Brooks

It certainly wood appear so. Magswitch Technology, Inc President Bill Fudale & Senior Engineer Jim Michael have launched a range of woodworking tools at the International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair in Atlanta Georgia - to very enthusiastic response. "We had people four rows deep at the booth" said Mr. Michael. "We've had a number of folks say that the featherboards were the product of the show which is great to hear". MTI have launched a range of featherboard products - a tool that stops kickback of timber on table saws, router tables & jointers that are magnetically fastened to the table with the benefit of being easily turned 'off'. The featherboards are remarkably easy to use by putting the unit in the desired location, and twisting the two knobs to turn on the magswitches - no struggling to get it in the right spot or trying to use a miter slot. In addition to the featherboards, a range of clamping & workholding tools were released to a similar response.
